    LaJeana Peli,
Whirlpool duet dryer showing the F06 E02 is a bad error.
This tells you the dryer has an interface communication error.
This means that the main control board cannot communicate with the front interface control board.
You can try taking it apart and checking to be sure all is connected properly.
You can look this error up on Google and there are multiple solutions.

  2. I have a whirlpool duet dryer showing E02 and F06 codes. It was drying clothes and then showed these codes. What could be wrong. The codes are not in the manual.

  3. Whirlpool duet dryer set for 30 minutes but after a few minutes it resets itself for 3 mins. And doesn’t finish drying clothes. Why is this happening?

  4. Dryer showing PF then flashing. It just shuts off or makes a beeping noise. I unplug it, plug it back in and nothing. It’s losing signal somewhere.

  5. F67 code on my Whirlpool duet steam electric dryer.
Can’t find the specific code to identify the problem.

  6. Whirlpool Duet (no steam option) would not light with power button being pushed. Error code F 50 flashed. Then power button did light and automatically displayed 40 min. (Did not push start) and then all signals turned off. After 5 tries was able to start. Mid cycle lights flashed off then back on. Dryer remained drying.

  7. I have a Whirlpool Duet Dryer, model WED9200SQ0. I had an issue where the motor would start for 1/2 second then stop (issue happened occasionally then progressively happened almost always over a week). I replaced the motor but the issue was still there. I replaced the main control board and that seemed to fix the issue. However, then I noticed that the heater never turned on. I ran through the diagnostics and troubleshooting procedure and everything seems good. Thermal fuse is good. I did see a past error code F25, so I replaced the inlet thermistor and thermal switch, but this did nothing. I cleaned out the duct (it was not blocked). Any suggestions?

    Laundromat G,
It should only get the 240 when the heating element is told to turn on.
Did you run a full cycle to be sure it heats?
If the element does not get power at all, then you have either a wiring issue or a control output issue.
What setting do you have it on when testing?

  9. I have a dual sport dryer WED8300SW2 that will not heat up.
I thought it was the heating element. Replaced it, but that was not it.
    Vacuumed the lint line. Clean.
Tested the thermal fuse and thermostat for continuity. Good.
Plugged the dryer back in, turned the dryer on and put a multimeter onto the heating element’s connections. 0.00 volts. Shouldn’t I see 240v?
I went and flipped the breaker off and on. Same result.
What do you think the issue could be?

  10. Whirlpool clothes dryer model #CFQE5000QW.
The dryer will sometimes not start, at times it makes a growling sound and then the next time it runs it is fine and shows no error codes.

Whirlpool duet dryer. Getting power. Won’t turn on. I can push + and – and + and -, and that turns it on and dryer turns fine, but only for 2 minutes, during which time F-02, and 99 and sometimes 8 appear on the screen. Have to push the start button every two minutes to dry clothes? Any suggestions?
