How To Remove Ants In Kitchen?

My apartment kitchen is filled with ants and roaches. I have called the landlord and I get no help. What is the best way to get rid of ants and roaches from my kitchen? Mostly, the ants and roaches are under the kitchen sink all over the cabinets. I have found them under the refrigerator, under the dishwasher, under the oven, and many times all over the floor and on top of my cabinets. What do you suggest I do if my apartment landlord will not assist?

What You Need To Know If You Have Ants Or Roaches In Your Apartment:

The first thing is it may not be you that is causing the ants and roaches. If you live in an apartment, your neighbors to the sides, and above or below, may be causing the problem. If an apartment neighbor is next to you and they do not clean the apartment and let bugs in as food particles are everywhere, it is not a problem you are creating.

This has to do with the landlord. To make this right, the landlord should clear out all the apartments that have roach and ant infestations and get rid of any dirty tenant and then hire an exterminator company who can effectively treat all the units ON THE SAME DAY with cockroach “gel” and “ant powder”. (ALSO: The Landlord needs to make sure all the water pipes are not leaking as this can cause roaches.) The landlord is the only person who can take all the necessary steps to get rid of the bug problems. However if the landlord will not help or will do it at a future date, here are a few things you can do yourself:

Boric acid works well to kill ants and roaches.

Get multiple pieces of cardboard, one for under refrigerator, one for under dishwasher, one for on the top of your cabinets, one for under kitchen sink, and one for under oven. Sprinkle the powder on each piece of cardboard and place it under the areas mentioned. It does works after a little bit of time. You will notice them slowly going down in numbers until they are completely gone. The Boric acid works by the chemical getting on their legs. It then eats away their legs and they are unable to go back to the nest.
