Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Codes
Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Code = PF
Error Condition = Power Failure
Check or Repair Needed = Power failure while the dryer was in cycle. Press the Stop button to clear the display. If you experience common power failures on your dryer be sure to check the electrical outlet cord.

Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Code = F01
Error Condition = Main Electronic Control Board Fail
Check or Repair Needed = Remove the dryer from power for 10 minutes. Apply power back to the dryer and if the code returns you need to replace the main electronic control board.

Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Code = F02
Error Condition = Keypad or User Interface Fail
Check or Repair Needed = A button on the keypad may be stuck on one of the user interface controls. If the button cannot be unstuck then replace the user interface control assembly.

Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Code = F20
Error Condition = Heater Relay Fail
Check or Repair Needed = The heater relay on the main electronic control board has failed. Remove power to the dryer and replace the main electronic control board.

Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Code = F22
Error Condition = Outlet Thermistor (Temp Sensor) Fail
Check or Repair Needed = The controller indicates an electrically open outlet temperature sensor (thermistor). Remove power from the dryer. Use a multi-meter and check the resistance of that particular thermistor/temp sensor (10,000 ohms). If the outlet temperature sensor is bad then replace it.

Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Code = F23
Error Condition = Outlet Thermistor (Temp Sensor) Fail
Check or Repair Needed = The controller indicates an electrically open outlet temperature sensor (thermistor). Remove power from the dryer. Use a multi-meter and check the resistance of that particular thermistor/temp sensor (10,000 ohms). If the outlet temperature sensor is bad then replace it.

Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Code = F24
Error Condition = Inlet Thermistor (Temp Sensor) Fail
Check or Repair Needed = The controller indicates an electrically open inlet temperature sensor (thermistor). Remove power from the dryer. Use a multi-meter and check the resistance of that particular thermistor/temp sensor (50,000 ohms). If the inlet temperature sensor is bad then replace it.
NOTE: The inlet thermistor is part of the high limit thermostat on this dryer.

Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Code = F25
Error Condition = Inlet Thermistor (Temp Sensor) Fail
Check or Repair Needed = The controller indicates an electrical shorted inlet temperature sensor (thermistor). Remove power from the dryer. Use a multi-meter and check the resistance of that particular thermistor/temp sensor (50,000 ohms). If the inlet temperature sensor is bad then replace it.
NOTE: The inlet thermistor is part of the high limit thermostat on this dryer.

Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Code = F28
Error Condition = Moisture Sensor Fail
Check or Repair Needed = Remove power from the dryer. Check the wiring harness on the moisture sensor visually and with a multi-meter. If the wiring connections are okay then replace the moisture sensor.

Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Code = F29
Error Condition = Moisture Sensor Fail
Check or Repair Needed = Remove power from the dryer. Check the wiring harness on the moisture sensor visually and with a multi-meter. If the wiring connections are okay then replace the moisture sensor.

Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Code = F30
Error Condition = Restricted Outlet Airflow
Check or Repair Needed = Check the lint screen filter and clean of any lint. Remove fabric softener buildup on the lint screen if necessary. Clear lint blockage restriction from the air vent exhaust system.
Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Code = F31
Error Condition = Low L2 Voltage
Check or Repair Needed = The L2 leg of the 240 volt power is below 30 volts. Check circuit breakers for the dryer and reset the L2 breaker if needed. Remove power to the dryer then check the power cord wire connections on the terminal. If any loose wires are found resecure them. Replace the power cord if it has become damaged. Check the 240 volt power supply to the dryer.

Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Code = F70 F71
Error Condition = No communication between the ECB (electronic control board) and the UICB (user interface control board assembly)
Check or Repair Needed = Remove power from the dryer. Check the wire harnesses visually and with a multi-meter from the electronic control board and the user interface control board. If the connections are okay then the main electronic control board and the user interface control assemblies may need to be replaced.

Kenmore Elite Dryer Error Code = F72 – F78
Error Condition = User Interface Control Assembly Fail
Check or Repair Needed = Remove power from the dryer. Check the wire harness connections between the user interface assemblies visually and with a multi-meter. Check the wire harness connections between the main electronic control board and the user interface assemblies visually and with a multi-meter. If the wiring connections are okay then one or both of the user interface control assemblies may need to be replaced.

My kenmore dryer is displaying the code 99. Fuse was recently replaced on dryer by a repair service.
I don’t know much about this dryer as it came in the sale with my house.
We keep getting error nP on Kenmore dryer.
It will run for like 5 minutes then show the error code again.
It’s related to power and we will pull the dryer out, unplug it, plug it back in, then hope for the best.
It worked for a couple rounds before but now is constantly just stopping again with the error.

The dryer may be experiencing an airflow problem.
OF error code for Kenmore dryer does not exist in our database.
It may be an AF error and this means an airflow issue.
Have you tried unplugging the dryer for 15 minutes or so to see if it resets the error?

Kenmore dryer keeps getting OF error.
After finishing a drying cycle and the machine is off, it automatically beeps and displays ‘on’. Then a few seconds later it displays the error code ‘of’ and beeps. I tried pressing stop once and then twice, The display goes off but then comes back on with a beep after a few seconds and flip flops automatically between ‘on’ and ‘of’. Can’t get it to stop beeping and displaying these two codes. It is a Kenmore Elite Oasis model 110.6708 or 6709.
When completing diagnostics, I am getting a 02 code when I hit start button. We just replaced heating element, but dryer still stops mid cycle. I tested moisture sensor and it was ok. We smelled something like plastic burning when dryer first stopped mid cycle last week. We installed new heating element after this occured but dryer still stopping mid cycle. I do not see 02 code anywhere in tech sheet included with dryer.

The dr code on a Kenmore elite dryer is not actually an error code. The display shows this if the door is not fully closed.
You may have an issue with the door switch.

I am getting a “dr” error code on Kenmore Elite Dryer.
I get power, but after selecting the cycle and hitting the start button, I get this error code and no action.
Above this the drum light indicator is also on.
I have searched the manual and online, but have not found this particular error code anywhere.
