Most often the issues are from poor installation practices. It pays to hire a professional. In many cases extra refrigerant is required to compensate for additional length of the refrigerant lines. This needs to be done in the field properly and weighed in. I have installed multiple systems and no issues yet. My customers have been more than satisfied. Great equipment at a great price!
I had the Senville 36k BTU compressor with 4 – 9k BTU wall units installed around 14 months ago. Everything has worked great until today. Two of the wall units (farthest from the compressor) turn On for around 5 seconds, the display shows temperature, then the unit shuts Off. The display then shows 2 dashes (- -). I looked through the manual and it says nothing about the dashes. HELP !
I’m having the same issue. Just installed a SENA-30HF/D 28,000 BTU dual zone unit and I’m getting a P6 code as well. I confirmed no leaks prior to releasing coolant so don’t believe leaks are the issue.
The unit turned on for a bit yesterday but I noticed frosted lines by the low pressure valve so I shut it off. Tried testing it today and that’s when I got the P6 code. I also tried testing the pressure in the lines today and I don’t seem to be getting any pressure at all.
Wondering why the unit would need additional coolant if it’s supposed to come pre-charged.
Any help would be appreciated.

Senville 4 zone 36000 btu – error code P6
P6 error code on Senville AC means the outside unit is not cooling and needs more refrigerant.
Possibly one of the valves is not open all the way and not sending refrigerant to the whole unit.
It’s most common when it’s super hot outside and the unit isn’t able to cool properly.
