Figuring out what type of glue to use to adhere one material to another is important. Since there are endless combinations of things that could be adhered together, there needs to be some sort of guide. For example, we needed to glue a piece of wood to metal that was going to hold over 100 pounds.

To bond two UPVC (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) rings together, you should use a specialized adhesive made for bonding PVC or UPVC materials. These adhesives are designed to provide high-strength bonds and are generally solvent-based or reactive-curing.
These 3 all would work:
PVC Solvent Cement
Cyanoacrylate Adhesive
Two-Part Epoxy

What glue should you use to stick upvc ring (1″) to another ring of the same size.
Could you recommend the best adhesive to attach decorative molds made from air dry paper clay to ceramic tile that has a matte finish? Would you also know the proper type of medium to use to apply raised stenciling on ceramic tile with a matte finish? Thank in advance for any advice you can offer!
