FLYING can be hell at times. Passengers endure cramped seats and the constant “hum” of the aircraft engines. The best and the worst seats on a plane are revealed below.
1000 airline passengers were surveyed on their seating preferences which included middle, aisle or window seats.
6A is the most popular airline seat positioned for those wanting to disembark the aircraft quickly and without being too close to the front toilets.
Passengers generally prefer the front left side of planes as there is less engine noise and passengers get a better choice of food.
Another reason is that the left hand side of the plane is best as the windows are off center allowing for wall space to lean on.
The front six rows of the plane are the most popular.
Other passengers prefer the middle section near the wings where they are less likely to feel turbulence.
The seat to avoid is the middle seat 31E which located near the back of the plane and isn’t close to toilets or exit doors.
