HOW TO FIX ERROR 22 ON LG REFRIGERATOR:
- Use caution and unplug the refrigerator.
- Slide out refrigerator from the wall.
- Remove panel if applicable.
- Find the compressor start relay near the compressor.
- Remove it and replace with new.
- Be sure wires are put onto the same terminals as the old one.
- Install back panel if applicable.
- Plug fridge back in and test.
- Slide fridge back into place.
- Give the fridge some time to start the compressor.
- Once you hear the compressor turn back ON you know your fridge is now fixed.
- If fridge does not start (compressor start) check wiring.

Lg lmxs30776s refrigerator works except the refrigerator fan won’t run. All other fans work and compressor works. Replaced fan but won’t run in test mode. Getting code 22..I’m stumped.
Same issue with the lg errs code 22, this has no relay to replace, did anyone figure out this repair?

I have Code 22… no cooling, but also no clicking sounds. Compressor appears to be running & hot. Fans are working, as well. Seems like relay may be good? Others have posted changing relay did not fix the Code 22.
