  1. Fisher Paykel Dishwasher: My double drawer dishwasher has frequent E9 errors during washing cycle. The machine stops unfinished. The door cannot be opened. I have to unplug and then plug the power cable in order to open the door. Is there a fix to this problem?

  2. My customer bought the Fisher and Paykel dish washer drawer and it never worked even once the error code is E5 and I checked the water coming into the machine and it comes from the supply no prob but I took the front off the machine and no water before the fill valve

  3. We just purchases Model DD24D. In the medium wash program with the extra dry modifier selected the machine washes and dry. We washed a load before we retired for the evening and upon checking the machine in the morning the door lite was flashing and there was an intermittent beep. On the panel inside the door the medium and extra dry lights were flashing. This situation is not described in the manual. Does anyone know what this means?

  4. Hi
I have a dishwasher Dw60ccx1 and the screen is completely blue, I press the buttons and it makes noise but am not able to see anything. Could you please assist?

  5. On my DD603 had the “tap crossed out symbol” mid way through a cycle. Upon investigation the inlet filter was blocked by some muddy water in the pipe , probably council fixed a pipe overnight. So cleaned the filter and water was flowing in again. But the dishwasher does not accept water anymore on both top and bottom draws. I need help to reset this error. All other functions work alright and this error only comes up after a couple of minutes.

  6. I have F51 error code on bottom draw. How can I fix this ? If it is electrical, shall I just call an electrician? The dishwasher is no longer under warranty. Model dd60dax9.

    Doug Palmer,
    F&P Dishwasher has f51 error code…
F50 type error codes on Fisher & Paykel dishwashers are an indication of an electronics error.

Without deep troubleshooting first, simply try to unplug the dishwasher from power for 10 minutes to attempt to clear the error.

  8. I have the double dishwasher model and have a problem using the bottom drawer. I’m getting a fault F51- I can’t find that fault on your web page. Please advise me of what to do about this problem.

  9. My Fisher and Paykel dishdraw appears to work but when I close the draw and press go the light remains green for 15 seconds then does intermittent beeping and turns red and obviously doesn’t start – what can I do to fix it?

  10. DD603 lower drawer only, immediately following a successful completion of last load:
Screen dead, wash selector un-lit, power and start buttons dead.
    But lock button beeps.
    Rebooting power changed nothing.
Upper unit fully operational (on same house circuit).

Strikes me as an electronic issue requiring a service call. Ya?

  11. Geordie Schellhorn

I am getting F1 all the time.
I have replaced the floater switch main board, but I still have the same issue.
Do I need to reset it or something?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Marilu beard,
F52 may signify an electronics error.
Switch dishwasher OFF and ON again to try to reset the electronics issue.

  13. We bought a double dish drawer had it installed and top dish drawer does not work. It shows error code F52 code flashes on and off. Bottom drawer is fine, it is still under warranty but f & p has no certified tech to come fix it. Seems we will have to find our own tech and pay for it. Can you help us please.

  14. My Dish Drawer always pauses and beeps at various intervals. It beeps until I press the pause button. Will not go through a full cycle without stopping and beeping at some point.

  15. F24 code. I currently have that showing on my two drawer dishwasher and I noticed above there has been no reply from F&P on what this code means and how to repair. I have turned it off from the power and restarted but same code..
Could someone please reply with a possible explanation and how to fix.

  16. My bottom drawer hums continuously after the cycle is complete until the drawer is opened.

  17. My top drawer d/washer beeps when trying to start it and fails to start. Ive tried unplugging , but still wont start. Does not display error codes, Suggestions?

  18. ALLEN VETTER - DIY Repair Assistant

    Ardern Iwi Pita King,
The F24 code is not a common error, is the dishwasher running properly despite the F24 error code?
Please explain the problem you are experiencing, we can help you troubleshoot from there…

  19. Ardern Iwi Pita King

I have error code F24 coming up on my dishwasher can anyone help me out with what that means and how do I fix it please.
The dishwasher was i the house when we bought it and the instruction booklet seems to be for the wrong dishwasher.

  20. My F&P dish drawer has started beeping and shows E9 code on the screen. what do I need to do to fix it. I hope someone can help me!!!!

  21. I have an e6 error.. have done everything told re manual and still not working.. Can NOT fint the “FLOOD SWITCH” please..

  22. I am getting an F3 code (flashing). It is an intermittent code. I left the dishwasher sit for a couple of weeks and it worked without error for about a month, then started giving the error code again. The water is below the recommended max temperature. It is giving me a false code, I believe. I would like to deactivate the sensor. Is there a way. Maybe a wire I could cut?

  23. When I turn my F and P dish drawer dishwasher on, there is no sound of water entering and it goes onto F5 fault with what looks like a crescent.

  24. Have a Fisher and Paykel double drawer dishwasher, model on front of book says Ds605 and dd605. The top drawer leaves about 3 or 4 cups of water in it, will not drain completely.
The bottom drawer has more water left in it.
What do you suggest to try, they will not drain completely.
    What can I do?

  25. What does the red light with beeping and the letters FE mean? The dishes appear to be clean, but there is still some clean water in the drawer.

  26. Our Fisher Paykel dishwasher had a error code F9 and the lower drawer was extremely hard to open.
Now it is hard to close and open.

  27. So I haven’t been able to find out why our drawer dishwasher, Fisher Paykel, 7 years old has both the screen and all of the washing selection lights flashing at the same time. There is no code either. Anyone?
    Thanks

  28. fisher and paykel dishwasher dd6051H keeps going into drain cycle. there is no water in it. the only way to stop it is to shut the power off. it does not have fault codes to look at. this model only have lights. how do you diagnose if you can’t see fault codes.

  29. I have a Fisher and Paykel Dishwasher dishdrawer.
    Powers on.
But won’t start when button Is pressed.

  30. DIY Project Help Tips

    Chris,
Is the LCD Display replacement the exact same?
Check the end of the wiring harness to be sure the old one is the exact same as the new one.
If you have the exact OEM part, then check all wiring as there may be a wiring problem or possibly the new LED Display is faulty.
    -RR

  31. I have a Fisher Paykel DD602 and my LCD display went out on my upper drawer, so I ordered a new one.
Just installed and all I get is a yellow light – no fault codes or can’t even turn power on or off.
It is just lit up yellow.
I have tried turning power off to it and turning back on but same thing.
I replace the main control board about 3 years ago and it’s has worked great.

  32. I have a fisher and paykel double dishwasher.
There is no power at all besides the bottom dishwasher display which continually flashes.
I tried to power the dishwasher to another power point but the same thing occurs.
I don’t have any error code displayed.

  33. I am having the exact same problem as Leslie in the second comment. All of the symbols rotate and flash on and off, the time continues a rapid countdown… and the little melody it play is rather annoying. Can’t seem to find an explanation for this error anywhere. Any suggestions?

  34. On my top drawer; Three lights are lit… Heavy, fast, and and rinse. The lights on the front are flashing blue/red (purple?) and the lock button is flashing. When I touch the flashing light (purple?) it plays a tune, why? It will only run for 5 minutes, fill a little with cold water then just quit. I can’t find anything in the book about that.

  35. The washing program of my washer – the upper drawer – starts normally and it is functioning properly for some 30-40 minutes.
After that the clock/counter sticks in a number and it does not move further.
While washing continues to operate endlessly and without moving to the next stage.
The program never reaches an end.
    No fault code is displayed!

  36. FISHER AND PAYKEL…
“Heavy”, “Fast”, and “Rinse” are all lit up.
Five minutes is the only setting that will run.
I took the arm off and cleaned the drawer with vinegar.
I manually took out the water / vinegar mixture.
It is not working except for a cycle of five minutes.
    Bottom drawer is working perfectly.

  37. My top drawer will not filling on my fisher and paykel model DD603H.
I already replaced the water valve.
Will not filling in manual diagnostic mode either.
