We bend a lot of acrylic plexiglass for different household projects. The best way to bend plexiglass yourself is using a professional heat gun such as the one we use which is made by Dewalt – Dewalt Heat Gun. When using a heat gun remember to keep it moving constantly and work both sides of the plexiglass simultaneously. Staying in one spot for too long will make the plexiglass start to bubble. And always remember this… The first side you heat starts to expand and causes that side to curve first.
