Replace the door switch. I had the same problem on my Frigidaire front load washer. I purchased a new door switch on EBay for less than $30 including shipping and handling. You can also search YouTube to view the part switch out. A very simple process. I had the same error code and it solved my problem. Good luck.
I have a Frigidaire Affinity front load washer (fafw3801lw3).
I’ve replaced the door lock.
But now when i try to start the washer, with or without any clothes in it, i get the time of the wash cycle and PAU, blinking back and forth.

Frigidaire Front Load Washer error code e90 will come up when the washing machine electronics get wet.
E90 can also happen if wet clothes are left in the washer for a long time.
If you keep getting error code E90 = Reset the controls.
Press and hold the “cancel” button for 20 seconds then try to set a new wash cycle and press “start”.
If the reset doesn’t work… unplug the washer for 10 minutes to reset it.
If the e90 error comes back, replace the main control board.

We have E error codes but if those, either S4 or 54 appeared without the E in front of it, it may mean something different.
Please confirm.
