Error Fault Condition – Water Inlet Valve Fault.
Repair or Check – Unplug the washer from power. Reconnect any non secure wires on the water inlet valve. Replace the wire harness if it is found to be damaged. If the wiring is okay then measure the resistance of the water inlet valves using an ohm meter. If the resistance of each water inlet valve solenoid is not 60 to 62 ohms then replace the complete water inlet valve assembly.

Remove any objects found between the spin basket and the tub. An object could be interfering with the spin basket clutch engagement. Replace any broken drive components.

I have a Fisher and Paykel washing machine WL80T65C displaying error 49. I have checked the water inlet valves and measured the resistance of the solenoids, the resistance was between 50 and 55 ohms, and this should be between 60 and 62 ohms, therefore I replaced the valves, I still have the same error 49. where could the problem be?
